Opening the Flona 2025 Exhibition, Pramono Commits to Making Jakarta Green

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung officially launched the Flora and Fauna (Flona) Jakarta 2025 exhibition at Lapangan Banteng Park, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (8/5).
People can be creative with interaction
Pramono conveyed his commitment with Deputy Governor Rano Karno to make Jakarta greener and friendlier for all its citizens.
"Bang Doel and I really want to make Jakarta greener, have more green open spaces, and provide as many opportunities as possible for residents to enjoy them," Pramono said.
Pramono to Open Flona Exhibition on August 5, 2025There are 167 exhibition booths at this flora and fauna event. Pramono stated that this event is one of the Jakarta Provincial Government's efforts to create more communal spaces for Jakarta residents.
As the commitment realization, Pramono will launch the integrated development of three parks in Kebayoran Baru: Ayodia Park, Langsat Park, and Lauser Park. This integration is expected to expand the community's space for interaction and creativity.
"People can be creative with interaction. So we provide the interaction area," he added.
Furthermore, he also highlighted on the current economic conditions in Jakarta.
He stated that Jakarta's economic growth remains above the national average despite global economic pressures. This indicates that Jakarta is well-managed.
"Because it is not easy for Jakarta, which currently contributes to our GDP, to the national economy is around 16 percent," he continued.
Therefore, Pramono instructed his staff to continue increasing tax revenue, so that it can be used to build and beautify the city of Jakarta.
Furthermore, Pramono also emphasized the Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment to opening Jakarta to everyone. He stated that Jakarta is a home for anyone to work.
"Jakarta must open itself up, Jakarta must be a role model. Jakarta is a home for everyone," he stated.
