In the event, he explained, participants also briefly enlivened the Cultural Carnival at Car Free Day (CFD) on August 3. It is believed that the lively atmosphere and crowds during the CFD event left an extraordinary impression on them.

According to him, this event, which has just concluded, only partially met expectations. He hoped that more countries would participate in the upcoming year.

"Certainly, we will invite 82 countries in 2027 towards Jakarta as a Global City," he asserted.

Said Rachmad from the Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts (CIOFF) Indonesia explained that Jakarta World Foklore Festival 2025 is the result of collaboration between his organization and the Jakarta Government.

He explained, this event included a variety of activities ranging from a gala dinner, cultural performances, to visits to historical sites in Jakarta and various schools.

During their stay in Jakarta, the delegates stayed at Tavia Hotel Heritage and were provided with Transjakarta bus transportation.

He hoped that may their experience send a message to the world about the progress and comfort of Jakarta.

"This event received a positive response, so we believe it can help Jakarta become one of the top 50 global cities in the world," he hoped.
