DPRD DKI Dukung Penambahan Ambulans di Puskesmas dan RSUD

Adding Ambulances must Be Followed by Optimal Utilization

The Jakarta City Council E Commission welcomes the Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes)'s proposal to add ambulance fleet to improve healthcare services for residents.

So, we definitely support this

There will be around 11 ambulances consist of five for the Regional General Hospitals (RSUDs) and six for health centers.

This support was conveyed by Commission E Secretary, Justin Adrian, who assessed that this addition is needed for resident services.

Health Agency Prepares Posts and Ambulances for New Year

"So far, ambulances have had to serve nearly 11 million residents, and even include people from outside Jakarta. So, we definitely support this," he expressed, Wednesday (8/6).

However, he insisted that the ambulance must be used effectively and be easily accessible to the residents.

"They (ambulances) should be useful rather than just parked," he asserted.

To ensure effectiveness, the Dinkes was asked to submit the latest data on the current ambulance locations and the plan to deploy 11 additional ambulances.

This data was important for monitoring the increase in expected response time.

"Thus, we can see if there is an improvement in service quality, especially in terms of response speed," he added.

Further, the budget for one ambulance unit proposed ranges from Rp 800 million to Rp 1.2 billion, depending on the specifications.

"If the ambulance is already equipped with a defibrillator, the price would be different. But, we will still ensure its reasonableness," he added.

So, he would continue to oversee these various proposals to ensure they impact the improvement of healthcare quality in Jakarta.
