Traffic Diverted at Jalan DI Panjaitan for Channel Construction

The East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is detouring traffic on Jalan DI Panjaitan, Cawang to Kebon Nanas, to allow for the construction of the water channel using Jacking method.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Traffic Section Staff, Dedy said, preparations for construction are underway at several points on Jalan DI Panjaitan.

East Jakarta Development Section Head, Tengku Saugi Zikri explained, the channel construction has begun today.
"Work begins from the side of Cawang Underpass to the Kalimalang intersection. Physical excavation work is slated to start from August 30 to December 22, 2025," he explained.
He assessed, the first phase of the Jacking channel construction will begin in front of Park Hotel Cawang on August 11 and will end at the eighth stage in front of Brantas Abipraya 2 Building.
"This work is divided into five phases, and the work will be executed at night from 10 PM to 4 AM," he assessed.

1. Joint Pit 1 started from August 11 to October 19, 2025, in front of Park Hotel
2. Joint Pit 2 started from September 10 to October 16, 2025, in front of Patria Park
3. Joint Pit 3 started from August 14 to November 22, 2025, in front of Yodya Karya
4. Joint Pit 4 started from October to November 22, 2025, in front of Wika Tower
