Central Jakarta Mayor Arifin together with his ranks participated in competition to celebrate the Independence Day, Friday (8/15).

Various traditional and contemporary competitions were held such as tug of war, cooking, singing the national anthem, volleyball using sarongs and so on.
Besides participating in various competitions, Arifin explained, his ranks will also hold a thanksgiving as a form of gratitude to God for the Indonesian nation.
