Mini Soccer Competition in Munjul Enlivens Indonesia's 80th Independence Anniversary

Eight teams participated in the Mini Soccer competition at the Police Complex Football Field, Munjul Urban Village, Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta. This competition, initiated by the Munjul Urban Village Office, is held to celebrate Indonesia's 80th Independence Day.

Until the qualifying rounds and semi-finals take place today

Munjul Urban Village Head, Tari Djutari said the final match of the Mini Soccer championship will be held on August 20, 2025.

"Until the qualifying rounds and semi-finals take place today," she expressed, Monday (8/18).

She explained, this competition is also held to facilitate the interest and talent of elementary school children in Munjul, thus their skills in playing football can be further developed. Hope they could become accomplished athletes in the future.

"The winner will receive a prize consisting of the Munjul Urban Village Head's Trophy, a bouquet, a certificate of appreciation, and a cash prize," she explained.

RW 08 Chairman, Munjul Urban Village, Maidi Syahrial expressed, he strongly supports the Mini Soccer competition.

"Very good, not only for achievement, but also to foster brotherhood among children from Munjul so they can get to know each other," he explained.

One of the Mini Soccer competition participants from RW 03, Munjul Urban Village, Bintang (12), said he was very happy to participate in the event.

"I am in 6th grade at SDN Kelapa Dua Wetan 01. Very happy because I also enjoy playing soccer. I scored three goals earlier, and I hope my team can become the champion," he admitted.
