This week, Channel Repair on Jalan Gorontalo Raya Completed

The 145-meter-long water channel on Jalan Gorontalo Raya, Sungai Bambu Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, North Jakarta is being repaired.

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Neti Heriati explained, the repair has been underway since August 2025 and is targeted to be completed by the end of this week.

"This aims to face the Adipura award and also to arrange the Gorontalo Park area," she expressed, Thursday (8/12).

She explained, the repairs involve elevating the retaining wall and attaching a U-Ditch cover to organize it. This is targeted to be completed this week.

"This work involves seven workers every day. Hopefully, locals can also maintain the channel to prevent flooding after the repair is done," she asserted.

The repair received appreciation from a local, Susanti.

"Hope our environment will become more organized and safe, especially when the rain pouring," she stated.
