Jakarta City Council Chairman, Khoirudin assessed that the naming of Royal Batavia Cakung Hospital is appropriate to commemorate Jakarta's journey for entering its fifth century.

He focuses in improving the healthcare services quality.
"The service quality is the most important. All Jakarta residents must be served well," he added.
He emphasized that healthcare is a right of the people who pay taxes, and therefore, it should not be made more difficult.
Furthermore, Khoirudin hopes that the name change of the regional general hospital will align with improvements in the quality of healthcare services.
As for information, Royal Batavia Hospital construction in Cakung has been started from a feasibility study, preparing planning documents, reviewing superior services, and accelerating construction preparations in 2025. The hospital construction is targeted to complete in 2027.
Royal Batavia Hospital is designed to occupy 49,985 square meters of land. It has 13 floors and two basements. The hospital will be the first Jakarta Provincial Government-owned hospital to meet international standards and be equipped with modern medical equipment.
