Bank Jakarta Supports MSME's Ease and Protection Festival 2025

Bank Jakarta fully supports the empowerment of MSMEs through active participation in the MSME's Ease & Protection Festival 2025 initiated by the Ministry of MSMEs at the Kota Tua area, Jakarta.

This event serves as a platform for strategic collaboration across ministries, agencies, state-owned enterprises (BUMN)/regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), and various stakeholders to strengthen the microbusiness ecosystem in Indonesia.

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM) Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, stated MSMEs are the backbone of Jakarta's economy as well as an important instrument in reducing social inequality and creating jobs.

"I appreciate the government's synergy with Bank Jakarta and other stakeholders in ensuring that MSMEs receive adequate protection, ease, and financial access," she expressed, Friday (8/29).

Bank Jakarta President Director, Agus H Widodo stated that the institution's support for MSMEs is not just a program, but part of its identity and responsibility.

He explained that Bank Jakarta is committed to providing banking solutions that are easy, secure, relevant, and tailored to the needs of micro entrepreneurs. He is optimistic that the success of MSMEs stems from a collaborative ecosystem among the government, regulators, financial institutions, and the community.

"Thereby, Bank Jakarta will keep strengthening its role as a strategic partner in helping MSMEs upscale, become more competitive, and be protected," he added.

Then Bank Jakarta also emphasizes the importance of digitalizing MSMEs in this festival. Through the JakOne Abank agency system service, MSMEs cannot only conduct transactions more easily and efficiently but also have the opportunity to become financial service partners that open up additional income opportunities.

"Bank Jakarta is also actively collaborating with various parties in utilizing banking products and services that support the sustainability of micro businesses, including cash management services, savings accounts, checking accounts, deposits, and financing facilities," he added.

As information, this festival also features selected MSME booths showcasing local premium products, as well as integrated services ranging from registering a Business Identification Number (NIB), halal certification, SP-PIRT, to intellectual property rights/trademarks. MSMEs also receive assistance regarding access to funding, business protection, and digital marketing.
