Health Agency Prepares Ambulances at Numerous Protest Locations

Jakarta Health Agency, through Integrated Emergency Health Services Unit (PK3D), prepares ambulances in several protest locations, Friday (8/29).

Jakarta Health Agency Head, Ani Ruspitawati, said her side provides health support by deploying medical facilities to the activity.

"This is a form of preparedness in handling emergencies and medical evacuations," she said, Friday (8/29).

Ani explained the ambulances are deployed to six main areas. In Monas, the ambulances will standby around Kuda Statue, Gambir, Sarinah, Harmoni, and Kwitang.

Then ambulances for DPR/MPR Building are standby at GBK Gate 10, in front of DPR/MPR Building, Palmerah Pejompongan, under Slipi flyover, BPK Building, and Tomang.

Ambulances are also prepared in Tugu Tani, Salemba, Gatot Subroto, and direction to Cempaka Putih.

Ani also ensures that Community Health Centers with 24-hour service and all referral hospitals remain fully operate.

"It is hoped the emergency response can be implement more quickly and precisely," she stated.

As for information, people can immediately call 112 or 119 for an emergency medical assistance. The team then will move quickly to the location.
