Cempaka Putih District Water Resources Unit Head, Suhadi said his side deploys 15 personnel to run the project.

"The normalization has been running since August 4," he said, Wednesday (9/3).

Next Week, Channel Repairs on Jalan Kertajaya Raya Completed

Suhadi added personnel normalize the channel along 235 meters. They replace the existing channel material with 40x40 cm u-ditch.

"The progress has reached 75 percent. It is targeted to complete in mid September," he added.

He hopes the residents of RT 01 and 02 of RW 03 Cempaka Putih will also maintain the channel cleanliness.

"Please avoid to throw trash into the channel or it will disturb the water flow," he added.

Yanto (40), one of local residents, appreciated the channel normalization.

"Hopefully the normalization will flow the water smoothly," he hoped.
