Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung reviewed the traffic diversion trial in the TB Simatupang - Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta. The review was centered at Fatmawati MRT Station on Monday (9/15).

He also highlighted several causes of traffic congestion. One of them is the presence of Transjakarta buses when boarding and disembarking passengers. He believes this often blocks one lane of the road and disrupts traffic.
"So, with the adjustments we have made, hopefully these five days will yield satisfying results and significantly parse congestion," he explained.
He believes that if this traffic diversion is successful, it will resolve congestion problem on Jalan TB Simatupang that has long been complained about by the public. He also assured that using one lane of the toll road will not harm the toll operator, as the lane has not been used by vehicles all this time.
He also conveyed that each construction should be done with good coordination and following established regulations. Thus, excavation work is no longer carried out for a long time and causes congestion.
"Everything related to development executed by the Jakarta Government, I have already asked the Development Assistant to establish the rules of the game," he closed.
