E. Jakarta Bina Marga Revamps Sidewalk on Jalan Raya TMII

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency personnel are carrying out revitalization work on a sidewalk covering about 200 meters along Jalan Raya TMII, Cipayung Sub-district.

"The sidewalk construction aims to provide greater safety and comfort for pedestrians and public transport users,"

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Benhard Hutajulu, mentioned that the revitalization work is taking place on the west side of Jalan Raya TMII or opposite At Tien Mosque, TMII LRT Station.

"The sidewalk construction aims to provide greater safety and comfort for pedestrians and public transport users," he said on Tuesday (9/23).

Benhard explained that the work began at the end of August and is targeted for completion in December.

"The revitalization also aims to improve the area's aesthetics since it is close to TMII tourist destination, which attracts many domestic and international visitors," he shared.

According to him, the cost of the sidewalk revitalization work and its supporting facilities reached up to Rp 1.2 billion.

"We will continue to make sure sidewalks in East Jakarta are in good conditions," he concluded.
