South Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar appreciates the collaboration from the Jesus Christ Church Foundation to address flooding in the Tebet Sub-district by handing over assistance of eight drilling pumps.

Anwar appreciates the collaboration between the local government and various parties to address territorial issues as being very necessary.
"Indeed, it is our collective desire to overcome the flood problem. The soak pit that was previously too shallow, I request to be deepened for maximum groundwater absorption. Additionally, for those that do not yet exist, I ask to have proper and correct ones built," he expressed, Monday (10/6).
Revitalization of Water Channel on Jalan Kramat Almost CompleteTebet Sub-district Head, Dyan Airlangga explained, eight bore pumps will be provided to each urban village along with the Tebet Sub-district Water Resources Implementation Unit.
He targets there will be 200 new wells in Tebet each year, especially in flood-prone areas.
"With this collaboration, we can achieve the target to the fullest extent possible to prevent flooding in Tebet," he stated.
