"We interviewed several patients, and most rated the service between 8.5 to 9. This means the services at RSUD Pasar Minggu are already excellent," he conveyed.
He also mentioned that patients feel comfortable because they receive friendly and prompt service from the moment they arrive. Therefore, Thamrin urged the management to maintain the high quality of service.
"RSUD Pasar Minggu deserves praise and should be kept at this standard. When sick people come and receive poor service, their mental health condition can be affected and their blood pressure might rise," he explained.
Furthermore, Thamrin advised hospital staffs to remain calm and professional when dealing with angry patients.
"I was told by the information desk that some patients tend to get angry, but the number is small. Even so, they should still be handled with patience and care," he added.
In addition, Thamrin encouraged all provincial government-owned hospitals in Jakarta to optimize medicine delivery services, especially for elderly patients, so they don't have to wait too long at the hospital.
"Medicine services should take no longer than 40 minutes. This is important so that patients, especially the elderly, don't spend too much time at the hospital. I hope all RSUDs have the same standard of service—one heart, one voice, and one action,” he emphasized.
