PAM JAYA Prepares Services During Water Supply Disruption

PAM JAYA informs about PLN electrical work that affects the Pulogadung Water Treatment Plant (IPA) in East Jakarta.

We take all these steps to ensure a reliable water supply

This PLN work will cause a temporary halt in production at the Pulogadung Water Treatment Plant, which has a production capacity of 4,500 liters per second. The work will last for four hours, from Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10 PM to Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2 AM.

After the work is completed, one hour later, Pulogadung IPA will gradually return to normal operation, with water supply to customers becoming fully normal within a maximum of 48 hours thereafter.

Status Shift of PAM Jaya to Speed Up Water Service Expansion

During this process, 311,528 PAM JAYA customers in 53 urban villages will experience supply disruptions. The affected areas include parts of Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta. Hence, customers are urged to store water before the work begins as a precaution during the supply disruption.

PAM JAYA Presidential Director, Arief Nasrudin said, they are committed to providing the best service to customers by ensuring the quality and reliability of the piped drinking water supply remain maintained.

Therefore, his party prepared free water tank truck services for residential customers and for emergency situations such as hospitals, places of worship, and social foundations, to ensure customer comfort. This service can be accessed through PAM JAYA contact center at 1500-223.

He emphasized that this step is part of the company's preparedness to maintain the continuity and quality of public services.

"We always strive to ensure that every task affecting customers is managed well, measurable, and coordinated. We take all these steps to ensure a reliable water supply and that customers continue to receive the best service throughout the process," he expressed, Thursday (10/30).

Besides focusing on improving services, PAM JAYA also regularly coordinates with various other parties to maintain the stability and reliability of the water distribution system for Jakarta residents.

PAM JAYA Business Area Offices (AB) will also be open on Saturday, November 1, 2025, and Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 8 AM to 5 PM to assist customers who need information and direct services as an additional service. These include Senen, Klender, Pulomas, Water Warehouse, Kelapa Gading, Dewa Ruci, Yos Sudarso, and Sunter.

"Through coordination and the readiness of the team in the field, we ensure that all these steps become part of our ongoing commitment to providing safe, reliable, and sustainable piped water services for the residents of Jakarta," he explained.
