"We are closely monitoring the situation, assessing residents' needs, and prioritizing the swift evacuation of those requiring higher ground," he mentioned.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta BPBD Platoon Commander Nur said that personnel have also been deployed to flood-prone areas and evacuation equipment has been prepared for residents in need.
"We're coordinating with other units for temporary evacuation. The Polri Complex on Jalan Pondok Karya is currently one of the heavily affected areas, so we're carrying out evacuations immediately," he asserted.
