13 Fallen Trees in East Jakarta Evacuated

Head Section of Green Lane and Cemetery of East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita said eight fallen trees were in Lubang Buaya Urban Village, three in Halim Perdanakusuma, and in Cioinang Melayu and Kebon Pala Urban Villages by one tree each.

"One fallen tree on Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, RW 03, Hakim Perdanakusuma Urban Village blocked the road and triggered traffic congestion," he said, Tuesday (12/2).

Dozens of local Green and Orange taskforce personnel were deployed to evacuate the fallen trees.

Head of Lubang Buaya Urban Village, Latiful Syamsi stated as many as 40 PPSU personnel were deployed to evacuate eight fallen trees.

"All fallen trees in Lubang Buaya have been evacuated fully," he stated.

Meanwhile, Head Section of Economy and Development of Halim Perdanakusuma Urban Village, Iin Nuraida explained 15 PPSU personnel were deployed to evacuate three fallen trees at the location.

"The also assisted Green taskforce personnel. The traffic is back to normal as the fallen trees have been evacuated," he stated.
