Idul Fitri Holiday, Security Level in Ragunan Zoo Tightened

For the sake of safety, the South Jakarta Metro Resort Police will conduct extra security in Ragunan Zoo (TMR) throughout holiday of Idul Fitri. This is because, this recreational site is always crowded by hundreds of thousands visitors.

Chief of South Jakarta Metro Resort Police, Sr. Comr. Wahyu Hadiningrat disclosed besides Ragunan Zoo, the 2015 Ketupat Jaya Operation will also be focused on shopping centers.

"Our target is Ragunan Zoo, shopping center, and worship places that will be used for Idul Fitri prayer, tarawih prayer, etc," he expressed, Friday (7/10).

According to him, as many as 1,721 personnel planned to be deployed in such operation. "This number is three-quarters of existing power in South Jakarta Metro Resort Police. And it could be added if it is required," exclaimed Hadiningrat.

Aside that, dozens of security posts was already set up, especially in crowded places. 

"We set up 18 posts to provide quick service for people who need our help," he explained.
