Syaiful explained, his side deployed 15 fire trucks and 75 personnel to extinguish the fire that engulfed three houses, covering an area of 166 square meters.
"There were no injuries or fatalities in the incident, but 36 people had to temporarily lose their homes," he explained.
Meanwhile, Apriyansah (36), a local resident, admitted the residents tried to extinguish the fire when they saw thick smoke.
"Fortunately, the personnel were very quick and alert, so the fire did not spread to a larger building," he admitted.
