Head of Jakarta Satpol PP said thousands of personnel will be deployed at various points that are centers of community activity, including tourist destinations in the capital.
"Some of the main locations for New Year's celebrations are at the HI Roundabout and the Sudirman-Thamrin area," he said, Tuesday (12/23).

Moreover, Satpol PP ranks will also assist in securing 574 churches during Christmas celebrations. Security will be carried out in an integrated manner, with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and other community organizations (ormas).
"For Christmas security, we deploy approximately 2,061 personnel, while on New Year's Eve, we deploy approximately 1,600 personnel. The total number of personnel is 4,296," he affirmed.
