Lenteng Agung Fauna Center Offers Holiday's Excitement

South Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise (PPKUKM) Sub-agency invited the public to visit Lenteng Agung Fauna and Culinary Center, Jagakarsa District during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Head of the sub-agency, Djaharuddin said various activities including competitions for local trades to be held there.

"I have planned to hold a fried rice cooking competition between culinary traders and a music competition for street kids in blocks A and E," he said, Thursday (12/25).

He added that the activity aims to increase visits and as a means of promotion that the Lenteng Agung Culinary and Fauna Center is suitable as a new gathering place in South Jakarta.

"Promoting and providing entertainment for the community during Christmas and New Year," he added.

Djaharuddin continued that, especially on New Year's Eve, the excitement will be even more palpable with several activities, even though there will be no fireworks and firecrackers.

"We'll make it as festive as possible, but we must also comply with applicable regulations. We will also hold prayers and fundraise for disaster victims as a form of humanitarian solidarity," he continued.

Meanwhile, one of the traders, Rika appreciated the sub-agency's effort in attracting visitors to visit Lenteng Agung Fauna and Culinary Center.

"Recently, there was a night market and a karaoke competition. Hopefully, this Christmas and New Year holiday will bring more visitors, especially since many traders are already open," she stated.
