"We are deploying all personnel to help maintain cleanliness, especially during the city-level New Year celebrations centered at the West Jakarta Mayor's Office and the Kota Tua area," he said, Monday (12/29).

He added that his ranks are also supported by the Cleanliness Unit of Jakarta Environmental Agency's Water Body.

Various supporting facilities, such as garbage trucks, mobile toilets, and road sweeper trucks, will be deployed. Additionally, trash bins will be added at several locations.

"The unit number to be discussed further at a meeting," he added.

According to him, cleaning personnel will start to be on standby at crowded areas no later than one hour before New Year's Eve.

"After the crowds disperse, they will work optimally to restore the clean environmental conditions as before," he continued.

He appealed to the public celebrating New Year's Eve at locations designated by the West Jakarta City Government to maintain environmental cleanliness.
