320 Satpol PP Personnel Deployed in North Jakarta on New Year's Eve

North Jakarta Satpol PP is about to deploy 320 personnel to secure and guard new year's eve celebration.

Head of North Jakarta Satpol PP, Budhy Novian said these hundreds of personnel will work in synergy with related elements in implementing security and supervision.

According to him, this step is taken to ensure that the entire series of New Year's Eve activities run safely, orderly and conducively.

"Hundreds of personnel will be deployed in various busy and entertainment centers which are predicted to be crowded with residents," he said, Monday (12/29).

He explained that the security is focused on a number of entertainment areas and community activity centers, including the Ancol area with 50 personnel, Artha Gading Mall (MAG) with 50 personnel, Sunter Lake with 30 personnel, and the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area with 15 personnel.

"North Jakarta Satpol PP also deploys a city-level multipurpose squad of 10 personnel on standby," he added.

Security will also be strengthened in the Pademangan and Kemayoran border areas, with 15 personnel deployed. Meanwhile, 150 personnel will be deployed on the Jalan Sudirman-MH Thamrin as the center of celebration in Jakarta.

"We have prepared a mobile and periodic security system. Personnel will continue to monitor the situation," he admitted.
