Rano assessed the function and role of the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village must be optimized. In addition to serving as the base for the soon-to-be-established Betawi Traditional Institution, Rano also highlighted the need for the establishment of a dedicated educational institute dedicated to Jakarta.
"There must be an educational institution here. Not a university, but something like an institute about Jakarta," he added.
Rano also highlighted infrastructure issues that need to be addressed, including plans to build a public transportation system, a monorail, to Setu Babakan to alleviate congestion in the area.
"Even though the construction may be gradual, we must have a grand design," he stated.
