Fallen Trees on Jalan Pakubuwono VI Evacuated

As many as 10 PPSU personnel handled fallen trees on Jalan Pakubuwono VI, Gunung Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta.

Road conditions have now returned to normal

Head of Gunung Urban Village, Elvita Rahmadani Rangkuti said the tree trunk, which had been split, fell at around 7.10 AM due to high intensity rain accompanied by strong winds.

"We are taking direct action to smooth access to the main road which is quite busy with vehicles during morning working hours," she said, Monday (1/12).

She added that the Orange Troops were equipped with equipment such as chainsaws and machetes to evacuate fallen ketapang tree trunks with a diameter of around 20 centimeters and a length of more than five meters.

She continued that there were no casualties or material losses in this incident.

"Road conditions have now returned to normal. We are coordinating with relevant agencies to dispose of the remaining tree trunks and leaves," she stated.

Meanwhile, one of the residents, Yuserman appreciated the quick handling of the officers and PPSU personnel after receiving the report.

"I reported to the urban village. Then PPSU personnel came in three minutes to evacuate the trunks," he said.
