Transjakarta Evaluates 'Transjakarta Care' Service Following CSW Bus Stop Incident

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has responded to the incident involving a visually impaired passenger who fell into a gutter near the CSW Transjakarta Bus Stop in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

" We are currently conducting an internal review,"

The incident occurred on Sunday (1/11) afternoon and was captured in a video that circulated on social media.

Transjakarta Corporate Secretary and Public Relations Division Head, Tjahyadi DPM, expressed regret over the incident.

He confirmed that Transjakarta had directly reached out to the passenger to offer an apology and provide the necessary support and assistance.

According to him, the incident has become a serious concern for management, prompting a comprehensive evaluation of the service's operational standards, especially regarding the Transjakarta Care service.

"Transjakarta is committed to offering full attention and assistance to the affected passenger. We are currently conducting an internal review and reinforcing service standards to prevent similar incidents from happening again," said Tjahyadi on Tuesday (1/13).

For reference, Transjakarta Care is a free service specifically provided for people with disabilities in Jakarta, aiming to ensure safe, comfortable, and inclusive access to public transportation.
