Inundation Survivors in Cakung Receive Food Assistance

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency distributed food aids for inundation survivors in Cakung District.

Head of East Jakarta Social Sub-agency, Agata Bayu Putra, said a total of 6,900 ready-to-eat meal boxes, along with bottled mineral water, were distributed today.

Assistance Given to Inundation Survivors in Rawa Terate

"We also distributed 7,000 ready-to-eat meal boxes on Sunday," he said, Monday (1/19).

Agata detailed that today, 1,500 boxes and 1,500 bottles of mineral water were distributed to Rawa Terate Urban Village. Furthermore, in Cakung Timur, 2,500 boxes and 2,500 bottles of mineral water were distributed.

"For West Cakung Urban Village, there are 2,500 boxes of ready-to-eat food and 2,500 bottles of mineral water, and in Penggilingan Urban Village, there are 400 boxes of ready-to-eat food and 400 bottles of mineral water," he explained.

Meanwhile, RW 05 administrator of Rawa Terate Urban Village, Nurhasan thanked and appreciated the assistance.

"The floodwaters have receded since last night, but today residents are still focused on cleaning their homes, so they can't cook yet," he stated.
