Transjakarta Operational Limited to 6 PM on Idul Fitri Eve

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will limit the operation of regular transjakarta bus until 6 PM on the upcoming eve of Idul Fitri on Thursday (7/16).

No operational changes for night buses (AMARI) and regular bus. On Idul Fitri eve, the bus operates up to 6 PM only,” said Antonius NS Kosasih, Director of PT Transjakarta, Tuesday (7/14).

Kosasih added, the traffic on Idul Fitri eve could be worse due to vehicles convoy. “We also prevent firecrackers' threat over the bus on that night,” he uttered.

Transjakarta Bus Remains Operate on Ied-ul Fitr

He explained, at that night, Transjakarta night bus only operates until 4 AM. The effort aims to let the personnel performs ied prayer. “We give them time to prepare for Idul Fitri prayer,” he explained.

At the day of Idul Fitri on Friday (7/17), regular transjakarta bus will operate at 9.30 AM to normal operation. While for tourism double decker bus operates at 12 PM adjusted with the opening hour of shopping center.

"No changes for 24 hours bus operational, while others still up to 10 PM. The ranks of board director will run the duty checking the shelter and monitoring the fleet on the days determined after July 17," he asserted.
