Energy Infrastructure Cooperation Presented by Pertamina and City Administration

Jakarta City Administration with PT Pertamina signed the mutual agreement of oil and gas, renewable energy and electricity infrastructure in order to support city’s development.

We want to make it real, thus, this could be a solution for citizen, government and also Pertamina

The agreement was signed by Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama and Director of PT Pertamina Dwi Soetjipto at Pertamina Office, Tuesday (7/14).

The agreement covers electricity provision, gas supply and  gas network infrastructure for housing, transportation and industry in a bid to realize the implementation of city gas in capital.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama hoped the agreement could be realized soon. “We want to make it real, thus, this could be a solution for citizen, government and also Pertamina,” he said after signing the agreement, Tuesday (7/14).

Ahok commits to keep facilitate and support in running the program. “We commit to continues facilitate by keep noticed over good governance principle,” he uttered.

By this means, through the agreement, city administration and Pertamina will always have synergy to embody energy infrastructure provision in city. Ranging from permission, land provision up to developed-infrastructure which is able to provide benefits for both sides and also public.

Separately, the Director of Pertamina, Dwi Soetjipto acknowledged aside the infrastructure his side will also provide public quality product to be used. For instance, musicool use (eco-friendly refrigerant product) on the pilot project of green building program.

“As national economy center and also become a representative of Indonesia, Jakarta needs reliable and sustainable energy,” he stated.
