"All this time, there are many reports into the office, about the occurrence of blackmail towards passengers. Majority of perpetrators are the hawkers of glasses and snacks," said Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Andri Yansah, Tuesday (7/14).

In their action, they force the passengers to buy their merchandise. It is done by putting the merchandise on passengers' lap. If they touch it then they have to buy. Ironically, they also set the price as they pleased.
