Post of Eid-ul Fitr, 315 Street Vendors of Asemka will Be Relocated

As many as 315 street vendors in Pasar Pagi, Asemka, Roa Malaka Urban village, Tambora Sub-District, West Jakarta, in the near future will be relocated to two traditional markets owned by PD Jaya Market. 

After this Eid-ul Fitr, those 315 street vendors will be relocated

The two markets are Perniagaan Market and Mitra Market located in Jembatan Lima. The relocation is one of the city administration's efforts to realize orderly and friendly environmental city.

"In Perniagaan Market, numbers of empty kiosks reach 600 units. After this Eid-ul Fitr, those 315 street vendors will be relocated," said Head of West Jakarta Small Medium Cooperatives Enterprises Sub-Department (KUMKMP), Slamet Widodo, Monday (7/20). 

Widodo stated, its number has been starting to increase. Whereas, previously relocated street vendors are only 200 vendors. 

"The number of street vendors relocated increased to 315 vendors. But we are not worried," he expressed.

He explained, before being relocated, those street vendors will be recorded. After that, his party will hold coordination meeting with related party and continued with socialization to the vendors.
