Empty Land Proposed for Pinangsia Urban Village New Office Construction

A part of 1.2 hectare land owned by Jakarta Provincial Government at Jalan Cengkeh,RT 07/08, Pinangsia Urban Village, Taman Sari Sub-District, proposed to be built as Pinangsia Urban Village new office. Considering, the old one at this time is already unworthy to be occupied.

If there is land on sale, it must be sold with high price and not in accordance to the taxable value of property (NJOP)

"We want a part of the land to be built Pinangsia Urban Village office, as the current office located at Jalan Mangga Dua III is often flooded due to the overflowing of Ciliwung River during rainy season," said Taman Sari Sub-District Head, Paris Limbong, Thursday (7/30).

Meanwhile, Head of Governance for West Jakarta Administration, Edy Mulyanto uttered, he does not deny that currently of 8 urban village offices, including Pinangsia has not fulfilled the standard. As, it is still a two-story building and the land is very small.

All this time, he added, the cause of the office not moving is because the unavailable land in the area.

"If there is land on sale, it must be sold with high price and not in accordance to the taxable value of property (NJOP)," he expressed.

Besides Pinangsia, other urban village offices that still have not fulfilled standard are Jembatan Besi, Duri Utara, Taman Sari, Jembatan Lima, Glodok, Maphar and Tangki Urban Village offices.
