City Gets 300 BRT Buses

City Administration will get an additional bus from the Ministry of Transportation. The bus is similar with rapid transit standardization or just like Transjakarta bus.
As much as 78 buses will arrive at the first phase. Later on, there will 300 buses arrived in the city
Jakarta Governor Basuki (Ahok) T. Purnama admitted to get 300 units out of total 3,000 buses which are assembled up to 2019. The bus will operate in Jabodetabek under Perum Perusahaan Pengangkutan Djakarta (PPD) as Transjabodetabek mode.
“As much as 78 buses will arrive at the first phase. Later on, there will 300 buses arrived in the city,” he said, Friday (7/31).
Those buses will operate outside Jakarta and passing on Transjakarta bus lane. No additional charge for Transjakarta passengers if they want to ride this bus. "Outside Jakarta passenger only pays Rp 9,000," he added.
The passenger who move to other corridors will not be charged any fee. Therefore, tap machine will be provided inside the bus.
In the future, the system will be applied in Kopaja, Metromini, and Kopami management.
