Recreational Site to Color KBT

The East Flood Canal (KBT) which was built to overcome floods in Jakarta, will also be used as a public space for residents.

We are going to make the site comfortable, thus residents can relax, exercise or shopping. All will be arranged well

Thus far, the East Jakarta Administration already designed the area structuring along the KBT becomes a convenient, safe and shaded recreational site. "We'll build public space for residents to relax with their family or relative," said East Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Husein Murad, when he visited KBT areas in Cipinang Muara, Cipinang Besar and Duren Sawit, Monday (8/3).

To make residents feel comfortable, he continued, his side intends to find a land for street vendor and arrange parking lot.

KBT will Be Transformed Into Culinary Tour Site

" We are going to make the site comfortable, thus residents can relax, exercise or shopping. All will be arranged well ," said Murad.

Hussein added his side also already prepared a land and will coordinate with local RT/RW thus street vendor in KBT can be arranged well.
