Government Office in N. Jakarta Encouraged to Have Librabry

North Jakarta Administration proclaimed "North Jakarta Reading Movement", Monday (8/10). In future, to socialize reading books each government office will be encouraged to have library.
Eventually each student will be instructed to make resume about books in city library
North Jakarta has land area more than 137 square kilometers, occupied by 1.4 million people. 70 percent of all population numbers are productive age and kids.
Assistant of Community Welfare for North Jakarta Administration, Ahmad Ya'la stated, reading interest have to be developed since early age. Therefore, he intends to establish cooperation between schools and North Jakarta Library and City Archives Office.
Jakarta Recite Movement Launched"Eventually each student will be instructed to make resume about books in city library. Because if they are accustomed, then they need it thus intelligent next generations will be developed," he expressed.
Besides that, to accustom the movement and develop reading interest, his party will encourage each government office, ranging from urban village, sub-district and Regional Working Unit (SKPD) to provide library facility.
"It could be provided near living room. So if there is a guest, they can read while waiting," he explained.
