Welcoming Independence Day, 51,706 New Trees will Be Planted

Welcoming the 70th Independence Day, East Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department is about to plant 51,706 new trees at three points of protocol road. It is targeted to be complete on Monday (8/17). 

There are total 51,706 trees planted on three points of protocol road

Those three points are Jalan DI Panjaitan planted (31.831 trees), Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo (20.917 trees), and Jalan Pramuka (27.606 trees). As for the types of trees that will be planted are yellow palms, aralias, bougenvile lili brazil and anjuang kribo. 

"There are totally 51,706 trees planted on three points of protocol road," said Head of East Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department, Mimi Rachmiati, Thursday (8/13). 

Disorda will Plant Trees in Entire Open Facilities

"Besides, the 850-square-meter grass will also be planted on such roads," she explained.
