Ahok: Ragunan Ticket Price Must Be Cheap

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) asked the ticket price of Ragunan Zoo (TMR), South Jakarta not to be raised. The current price is relatively cheap, at Rp 4,500 for adult and Rp 3,500 for children.

According to him, with the cheap admission price, visitors could enjoy the animal collection that reach thousands of animals from hundreds of species.

"I hoped the admission price is not raised, so the community could still enjoy a cheap holiday," told Ahok in Ragunan Zoo, Tuesday (8/18).
In that occasion, Ahok ensured, Jakarta Provincial Government won't sell Ragunan Zoo to private parties. Private parties only involved in assistance to repair Ragunan.
"Private sector only came to donate money," told Ahok.
He uttered, the cooperation being undertaken with private sector is using build and transfer system, not build transfer operate (BOT) system.
