Cooperative Development Still Hampered With Capital & SDM

The cooperative development in Jakarta seems still hampered with product capital and human resources (SDM) quality, especially for citizen’s cooperative (Kopmas).

We're positively welcoming the discourse, considering it would bring benefit for us, especially in terms of developing and guiding human resources

According to Irwandi, Head of Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Department, there are 7,000 cooperatives in Jakarta, either employee cooperative or society cooperative. For society cooperative, it needs a guidance due to as prevalence of caretaker's welfare.

Djarot: Our Cooperative Should Synergy with Malacca

“We keep guiding the cooperative human resources, especially society cooperative,” he said, Tuesday (8/18).

He added that he is fully supporting Jakarta Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat’s discourse that saying cooperative in the city to synergize with Malaysia. According to him, such cooperation could accommodate product marketing and manpower development.

"We're positively welcoming the discourse, considering it would bring benefit for us, especially in terms of developing and guiding human resources," he finished.
