2,713 Damaged Roads Repaired

Jakarta Dept. of Bina Marga has done the 2,713 points of damaged road improvement during January-August in five administration areas. Meanwhile, other 1,646 points await the turn.

We have done 58.97 percent of road improvement

Suko Wibowo, Jakarta Head Dept. of Bina Marga for Maintenance Board, explained the remaining 1,646 points must wait the auction process in Service and Goods Procurement Board.

"We have done 58.97 percent of road improvement," Wibowo said, Wednesday (8/19).

Road Improvement in Central Jakarta Accelerated

The 2,713 points are spread in Central Jakarta by 377 points, North Jakarta 505 points, West Jakarta 941 points, East Jakarta 449 points, and South Jakarta 441 points.

"The remaining 296 points in Central Jakarta, 133 in North Jakarta, 642 points in West Jakarta, 502 points in East Jakarta, and 91 points in South Jakarta await the procurement," he added.

According to him, mostly the road improvement was done by Sub-dept. of Bina Marga in five administration areas.

"They improved 2,410 points out of 4,003 points in total, while the department level improved 303 points out of 589 points," he disclosed.
