Jakarta Provincial Government will start the socialization of Betawi Cultural Preservation Bylaw after being reviewed by the Home Ministry.

Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Jakarta Vice Governor, said the bylaw socialization would be effective through a seminar. The socialization is needed to run the bylaw's purpose.
"Commitment between Jakarta Provincial Government and residents, and hardworking is needed to develop the Betawi Cultural Preservation bylaw," he said, Wednesday (8/19).
City to Socialize Betawi Culture Preservation BylawAccording to him, the target of this bylaw are humanist, writer, teacher, and also student. This bylaw will be included in school curriculum starting from elementary to senior high school.
"Other target is mass organization, but it will be arranged by Bamus Betawi," Djarot stated.
