Next Week, 50 Buildings in Mangga Dua Apdat Controlled

Due to standing on the Mangga Dua Apdat's connecting channel, 50 illegal buildings on Jalan Mangga Dua Apdat, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, will be demolished next week.

Definitely, they (building) has violated the rule

"We have socialized and sent warning letter to building owners," voiced Maratua Sitorus, Head of Sawah Besar Sub-District, Thursday (8/20).

According to Sitorus, the demolishment aims to smoothen normalization work and simplify officers clean up sheet pile along the channel. " Definitely, they (building) has violated the rule . No more malfunctioned channels during rainy season," he stressed.

Later on, as many as 100 joint officers would be deployed to control those buildings. They consist of Satpol PP, army/police, urban village, and sub-district. "No relocation and compensation. Considering citizens have occupied the land over dozen years," he finished.
