Satpol PP Standby to Assist Kampung Pulo Residents

Hundreds of East Jakarta Satpol PP personnel were deployed in Jatinegara Barat Flat, Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara to guard the area and assist the Kampung Pulo residents moving to the flat.

"We deploy 150 personnel everyday," said Agustinus Pasaribu, Jatinegara Urban Village Head Unit of Special Force of Satpol PP, Friday (8/21).

According to him, the personnel will guard the area until the Kampung Pulo relocation is done. It could take a week.

The personnel consists of 60 province level personnel, 40 East Jakarta Administration level, 20 Duren Sawit Sub-district level, and 30 personnel from Jatinegara Sub-district.

"There are also 30 police personnel," he added.

Satpol PP assisting the resident is free of charge. Firm sanction will be imposed to the cheating personnel.
