Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat asked The Brawijaya Alumni
Association (IKA UB) to keep contributing for nation development and urged to
maintain unity and Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

“Congratulation to Brawijaya University that categorized into the top six
best university in Indonesia. Not because I’am the one of alumni but because
its quality and should give your contribution to Indonesia,” he said when
attended social service at East Jakarta Mayor Courtyard Office, Saturday
(8/22).
He appreciated upon IKA UB awareness through social service activity. “So
glad with this kinda activity, especially blood donation, because its very
helpfull activity. Hopefully, you could create, educate your student to be a
good cadre for public,” he expressed.
Syamsul Maarif, Chairman of Brawijaya University Alumni Association (IKA
UB) stated that this is the highest achievement with almost 100 thousand
alumnis to be an asset to dedicate for nation.
“Together with the alumnis, we’re trying to involve in social issue, to
hold several social activity,” he said.
Hopefully, next Brawijaya university could serve more and increase the awareness for nation. “We do this is just because we love our nation,” he disclosed.
