Jatinegara Barat Flat to Have Two Libraries

Sooner or later, the Jatinegara Flat, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, will have two libraries. Those are equipped with educative kid’s playground. 

We will assign staffs permanently to guard it. Currently, we're still planning what else needed by the flat's occupants

As planned, the library to be built on 2nd floor and kid’s library provided on 1st floor. There will be 5,000 titles of books containing various stories and knowledges. 

50 Storefronts Prepared for Jatinegara Barat Flat Residents

Head of East Jakarta Library and City Archives Office (KPAK), Yati Sugiharti stated her party is still preparing place and facility for the library. Predictably, those could already operate in two days ahead. 

"We're still arranging the bookshelf and inventorying what kinds of books that will be placed. For now, kids are served using mobile library," she explained, Tuesday (8/25). 

For public library, will be filled with knowledge and textbooks. As some kids requested for it. The library will also be equipped with free Wi-Fi to ease kids accessing internet.
