After been piled up for 2 years, as much as 14 cubic meters of
trash transported from Cliwung rivulet in Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village,
Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.
Such trash then brought to Germor and put into local temporary disposal site
Around 40 Infrastructure
and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) from
City Cleanliness Department were deployed to transported trash.
Water Cleanliness Management Unit
Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Department, Junjungan Sihombing acknowledged the cleaning is done
manually as it have difficult terrain. Those personnel clean the river from 8 AM
to 4 PM everyday.
“Such
trash then brought to Germor and put into local temporary disposal site (TPS),”
he said, Friday (8/28).
Sihombing
added the cleaning will keep going on concerning rain season will come so soon.
