MRT Development, 31 Plots Owners Agreed to Be Paid This Year

Head of Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, Edy Suherman mentioned that the owners of 31 plots who affected by Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) development finally agreed to be paid this year.

S. Jakarta Mayor: Land Acquisition for MRT to Be Complete in 2016He explained the land that reaches 153 plots are located in Pulo, Melawai, Kramat Pela, Cipete Utara, and Gunung Urban Village.
“We have socialized about this matter twice,” he uttered.
On last Friday (8/28), Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama (Ahok) had allocated Rp 15.5 billion to citizen for land acquisition.
“There are only leaving 16 percent more, we will acquire it soon,” stressed Basuki.
According to him, the government should rely on Law No. 2/2012 on land acquisition. The way is by negotiating and offering the price in order to get a deal.
