Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat stated, one of solutions to arrange slums in the city is by continuing The Kampung Deret (elevated village) program. Hence, he hopes the program which was the idea of Jakarta Former Governor, Joko Widodo could be realized immediately.

The program keeps being continued in some areas in 2016. It's also for evaluating if there are some succeeded or not

According to him, the program which has been ongoing within 2013-2014, gain support from citizens, especially those who are domiciled in slums and densely populated area.

Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Housing and Government's Building, Ika Lestari Adji explained, her party is reviewing the program while waiting for citizens' suggestion.

According to her, the other matter found is the rampant of members (oknum) RT/RW caretakers who take unilateral advantage. Besides that, from the review is known that 20 percent of the Kampung Deret program is not right on target.

"Before continuing the program, we will finish first all the matters related to Kampung D eret," she explained.

She told, the reviews include area aspect, land legality and residents data collection. With this evaluation, she is optimistic only deserve people who receive aid.
