Aneka Elok River will Be Cleaned

In a bid to face flooding in the upcoming rainy season, the Infrastructure and Public Handling officer will clean up the Aneka Elok River passing Penggilingan Urban Village as long as 500 meters.

“The river often overflows during rainy season. Besides inadequate capacity, it is also caused by shallowing and trash,” said Head of Penggilingan Urban Village, Usdiyati, Wednesday (9/2).

Water Channel on Jalan Jembatan III Cleaned

Through East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Usdiyati stated, her side had sent a proposal regarding heavy equipment to dredge the sediment in the river.

“ Hopefully, the water channel in Penggilingan Urban Village could operate optimally when rain pours ,” she hoped.

Same as the previous time cleaning activities, she also had coordinated with East Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department for dump truck. “To clean up the river, we have coordinated with Cleanliness Sub-department,” she disclosed.
