Fire in Workshop on Jalan Raya Bogor Destroyed 5 Cars

Fire gutted a workshop located at Jalan Raya Bogor, KM 24, Susukan Urban Village, Ciracas, East Jakarta, at around 1.15 AM, Monday (9/7).

Fire was controlled at 2.15 AM. It is triggered by electricity short-circuit

To put out the flames, as many as 17 fire trucks of East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department immediately sent to the scene.

Head of Operational Section for East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department, Moelyanto acknowledged the first unit of fire truck arrived at the scene around 1.25 AM and successfully controlled the situation within 45 minutes later.

“ Fire was controlled at 2.15 AM. It is triggered by electricity short-circuit ,” he uttered, Monday (9/7).

Despite there was no casualty, fire had destroyed 5 cars inside the workshop. They are Ayla car B 1976 TIW, VW Wagon R car B 1389 TIP, Xenia and Karimun.

“The material loss is more than Rp 700 million,” he finished.
